What is the ITS

The Taurus construction logo represents the ITS principles, this can be seen firstly in the fact that the font used in this logo is asans-serif font and the message trying to be portrayed by this logo is clearand simple. It immediately tells you what the company does and what image theyare trying to portray of themselves. The logo itself is not based aroundpropaganda or offensive in any way. The grid structure of the logo is clear andstraightforward and clean.

The Federal Express logo is a great example of the ITS principles its not a complicated design itsstraightforward and appealing. The is a hidden message within the logo this isthe arrow in between the E and the X the negative space has been used as anadvantage to portray what the company does. The structure itself is clean andstraightforward there aren’t too many colours within it which makes it visuallyattractive the letters are all based around the type principles like how thex-heights and the ascenders are all aligned, a invisible rectangle goes aroundthe logo enclosing it into a neat shape.

The Blue Mountain Electric inc shows the ITS principles with the structure in which the logo itself is setup, the number of colors used and the grid structure of the logo. The logo is aligned in a rectangular shape which is supported by the imagery, this helps make a solid shape. The use of colors helps maintain the ITS principles of a simplified design. The sans serif font which is used in the logo also shows the principles behind logo design in the ITS.

The Leonard Cheshire Disability logo is another logo that has a square format to keep the shape of the logo unified and balanced the single color works with the principles of the ITS. Although the font is sans serif which also aligns with ITS principles the design of it is made interesting by using a Dis with less thickness.

The BBC World News is the last logo I will tie in with the ITS principles. It also has a rectangular enclosing around it the solid colour and the sans serif font also shows these principles
